|Elmbridge Business Network has identified the reduction of traffic congestion as a priority area.
Traffic congestion conference
On 24 April 2007, the Network hosted a free business conference. The event, which was held at the Procter & Gamble premises on Brooklands Business Park in Weybridge, showcased those businesses, which have successfully introduced initiatives that have helped to alleviate traffic congestion. There were also displays and information from transport experts to provide advice and support and an opportunity to network with other local businesses.
Brooklands Travel Plan Network
Following the traffic congestion conference, businesses in Brooklands met to discuss how they can work together to promote sustainable transport and have formed the |Brooklands Travel Plan Network. The Network's first |newsletter is available to download.

|Esher Shuttle Bus
The Network has worked with Elmbridge Borough Council, Esher Business Guild and local businesses to bring about a pilot of a shuttle bus in Esher between the railway station and key locations in Esher.
