More Card Business Discount Scheme
Elmbridge Borough Council, working with |Elmbridge Business Network, is running an practical initiative to help grow local business.
The Council is inviting local businesses to join its leisure discount scheme, the |more card, by offering discounts and offers to cardholders. The scheme is intended to enable businesses to increase footfall by reminding residents of the excellent variety of local traders operating in Elmbridge and offer them a little 'more'.
How the scheme works
It is simple and free to join. Discounts will be listed on the Council's website and can be updated with just a few days' notice. Many types of business can participate in the scheme and different offers or discounts could be given to cardholders, for example:

- 2 for 1
- Discounted membership
- Free trial
- Seasonal offers

Participating businesses will be issued with promotional materials such as till stickers. We also plan to send regular updates of new offers by email to cardholders.
How your business can take part
To take part, please complete the |joining form and return it to Leisure and Cultural Services, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD. Businesses must agree to the |terms and conditions of the scheme.
About the more card
The |more card was launched in 2006 and offers a range of discounts on leisure activities in Elmbridge, including the |Xcel Leisure Complex. The card can be purchased by people living in and around the borough of Elmbridge, and a variety of concessions are offered. There are currently around 6000 more cardholders.
