The Elmbridge Business Network was formed in April 2006. It aims to bring together business representatives from across the borough to work on projects and initiatives which will help ensure that Elmbridge retains its vibrant local economy. As such this forum is responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of the 'Enhancing the Local Economy' section of the |Elmbridge Sustainable Community Strategy 2006-2015.
The Elmbridge Business Network also provides vital networking and engagement opportunities to ensure that businesses have a voice in the borough.
Membership on the Elmbridge Business Network Committee is extended to two representatives from each geographical area of the borough. This enables the committee to extend out into the various geographical business partnerships and forums, which operate successfully throughout Elmbridge. These include:

The Business Network is establishing a contact list of local businesses who would like to receive relevant information, such as invitations to events and e-newsletters. To reduce costs and enable information to be sent out promptly, this will will be an email contact list only. Your details will be held by Elmbridge Borough Council on behalf of the Business Network and will not be passed on to third parties. |You can sign up by completing your details online. The Business Network has a fund to give small grants to groups of local businesses to help set up innovative projects and initiatives. An |information pack, including grant criteria, is available to download. You can |apply online or contact the |Community Planning and Partnerships Co-ordinator for an application form (we ask that applications are completed electronically for ease of distribution to the Committee).
To ensure that local businesses have an opportunity to have their say on the delivery of local services, Elmbridge Borough Council consults with a business panel twice a year. |For more information, visit the Have Your Say web page.
