Business Network Panel
The Business Panel aims to:
- promote an exchange of ideas;
- give business an opportunity to voice opinions and views on council delivered services;
- input into policies affecting the business community; and
- secure long term economic links between Elmbridge Borough Council and local business
In order to increase the number of businesses able to take part in the Panel, the Business Panel merged with |Elmbridge Business Network in February 2009. All members of the Business Network are now invited to participate in Business Panel surveys.
There are two to three consultations a year which cover topics of direct interest to local businesses, such as Environmental Care (Refuse Collection and Street Cleaning), Environmental Health, Building Control and Business Rates. The Council also invites other organisations, such as the police and county council, to submit questions for the panel.
The consultations are mainly questionnaires, discussions and workshops. The Panel results are reported in Elmbridge Business Network's six monthly newsletter.
