Is your house adequately signed? It is your responsibility as a resident of Elmbridge to provide adequate signage for your house. This aids all of those that may try to find your abode, not only friends and family, but also postal and emergency services. Please read the guidelines below and ensure that they apply to your property.
You should ensure that your number and/or name is clearly displayed
Numbers or Letters should be 75mm high and contrasting colours
Position should be clearly visible from the street
If the distance of the sign exceeds 20 metres from the road, it must be repeated at the edge of the property
On a busy road - display at 90 degrees to the roadway
If the property is also named always display the number as well
If you see a Street Name Plate which is damaged - |please report it to us, so we can repair/replace as necessary.
