Let's Talk Budget - YouChoose Budget Tool

Have your say in the difficult decisions facing Elmbridge Borough Council. The funding we receive from the government has been reduced and will be further reduced over the next three years. The Council is expecting to have to make up to £1.3 million in cost savings this year.

Elmbridge currently receives £199.19 in Council Tax each year from the average Band D property - that's £3.83 a week. The rest of your Council Tax goes to Surrey County Council, Surrey Police and (if you live in Claygate) Claygate Parish Council. Surrey County Council provides services such as social care for adults and children, schools, highways maintenance, on-street parking and libraries. We have only included the services provided by Elmbridge in this budget consultation.

|We want to hear your views. Where do you think the money might be saved? What are your service priorities? You may adjust spending and see the effects before you submit your choices. We also want to hear any other ideas you have on where savings should be made.
