Elmbridge is a vibrant community on London's doorstep. |You will find extensive green open spaces to walk on and a number of exciting tourist sites to visit including |Painshill Park, and |Brooklands Museum. In terms of location you can catch a train or join the M25 or A3 and be at the coast or in the heart of London in no time at all.
Elmbridge is also a great place to work. A number of International companies agree, and have their Headquarters in the Borough. There is also much going on. We recently opened our new |£15m leisure complex in Walton which offers state of the art leisure facilities, indoor pool, climbing wall, multi-purpose hall gym, bowls and much more besides. In addition, |Mercedes-Benz World, the Brooklands Community Park and the redevelopment of Walton Town Centre are all now open and worth a visit.
In 2004 Elmbridge Borough Council achieved an |excellent rating, the highest possible, by independent assessors from the Audit Commission. We are building on this success and aim to be one of the best Councils by 2008.
