On every page of our website we offer a simple way for you to rate that page using 'smiley faces'. It's an effective way for us to find out what works and what doesn't, and what needs to be improved.

How to use GovMetric

Simply click on the face that represents what you think about the page - you can do this when you see the faces in the column to the right of every page.

This is how they look and what they represent.

this smiley face is to rate the page as average and then tell us how we can improve the page

this smiley face is to rate the page as poor and then tell us what's wrong with the page

Once you have clicked on the appropriate smiley face, we'll ask you to tell us more about your reasons for choosing that particular rating. We then give you the option of providing further information- this ensures we concentrate on the areas most in need of improvement or lets us know when we are getting things right.

What we do with your feedback

• We look at every comment we receive and try to act on them as soon as we can. Whilst we can usually make simple changes or corrections straight away, significant improvements might involve more work and therefore take more time.
• Your feedback will help us to improve the pages you tell us are average or poor.
