Consultation Plan
What is the Consultation Plan?
The Consultation Plan covers a range of specific consultation activities scheduled to be undertaken by the Council.
What's included?
The consultation activities are primarily aimed at informing policy and/or developing services. They supplement the Council's existing extensive performance monitoring arrangements, such as on-going complaints / standards of service monitoring etc. and aim to ensure that the standards of service delivery to our customers are of the highest quality and value for money.
The activities may cover both written and non-written consultation undertaken to inform and develop Council and joint Council / external Partner initiatives, namely:
- Consultation led by the Council
- Joint Council and Partner led consultation e.g. consultation jointly organised with Housing Associations/Surrey Police etc.
- Statutory consultation involving the Council
- Consultation being undertaken jointly with other local authorities/government departments/agencies
