| |Teen Play Equipment | We are consulting with young people on the proposed installation of play equipment specifically designed for young people aged 11 years and above.We have identified two sites in the Borough that are play deprived; George Froude Open Space in Walton on Thames and Little Heath Open Space in Oxshott.The equipment is funded by the BIG Lottery and Elmbridge Borough Council to improve the pay opportunities for young people in these areas.We have consulted at two schools; Rydens and Esher High and are consulting face to face in the parks as well as postal surveys to the immediate addresses around the parks and online. | 10 Sept 2010 |
| |Health and Well-being Survey | Local people are being asked where they would go for help if they or a family member had problems with their mental health. Voluntary Action Elmbridge, supported by the Elmbridge Community Partnership, is asking the people of Elmbridge to complete an online survey about their experience of mental health problems and what sources of help they would use if they experienced issues with their mental health. The aim of the survey is to find out what support is available to people throughout the borough and people's preferred type of support, and its results will be of use to public and voluntary services including Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The |Residents Panel consists of around 1300 residents throughout the Borough enabling them to have their say about the services we provide.
