The Elmbridge Community Partnership worked with stakeholders to develop the second Sustainable Community Strategy, which will aim to improve quality of life in the Borough of Elmbridge.
The first Community Strategy covered the years 2003-2006 and it was instrumental in developing a Vision for Elmbridge in 2015. The second Strategy builds upon the first, but it also acknowledges that things have moved on in the past three years. The Community Strategy is now called a 'Sustainable' Community Strategy and it will cover the years 2006-2015 so that it is aligned with the Vision for the Borough in 2015.
The Sustainable Community Strategy 2006-2015 has two documents.
The first document is termed as a 'working document' as it will be used to performance manage the work of the Elmbridge Community Partnership, drive forward improvements in partnership working and has detailed action plans on what it will aim to achieve in each three year period. This document will be reviewed at least once a year, and if need be it will be amended to reflect any changes in the priorities of Elmbridge residents or businesses. The different sections of the working document can be downloaded below. If you require a hardcopy of this document, please contact the |Community Planning and Partnerships Co-ordinator.
The second document is a summary booklet, which gives an overview of the themes within the Sustainable Community Strategy 2006-2015. The summary booklets is available in public places across the Borough, is available on-line or a copy can be obtained by contacting the |Community Planning and Partnerships Co-ordinator.
Quarterly performance updates on the Community Strategy are also available to download below:
The ECP has prepared an annual report setting out achievements under the Sustainable Community Strategy in 2007. Download |part 1 and |part 2 or contact the |Community Planning and Partnerships Co-ordinator for a copy.
