The Committee can review and scrutinise policy and decisions within the remit of the Housing, Social Affairs and Leisure and Culture cabinet portfolios, including:
The Committee also takes an active interest in relevant issues beyond the direct remit of the Council, in particular health-related matters and the performance of the Surrey Primary Care Trust. Councillor Ruth Lyon represents the Council on the Surrey County Council Health Scrutiny Committee.
Committee Work Programme
