Let's Talk Elmbridge - Residents' Panel

What is the Elmbridge Residents' Panel?Residents' Panel logo

The Elmbridge Residents' Panel is made up to local residents. We ask their views on the Council's services two to three times a year. We are encouraging as many residents as possible to sign up to receive surveys by email. This means that the Council can continue to consult residents in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way. However, if you do not have an email address you can still renew your membership, as we will continue to send out paper surveys by post to those without computer access.

Why join?

Elmbridge Borough Council needs your views so that it can ensure residents' opinions are taken into account when developing services. If you are aged 18 or over and live in the borough of Elmbridge, membership of the panel is open to you.

How does it work?

Online panel members will be sent an email with a link to a survey. This could be about anything the Council is working on, including Council priorities and budget; service satisfaction; recycling and refuse; and crime. Each survey is expected to take just fifteen minutes to complete. Those without computer access will be sent a paper copy.

Please be assured that your details will be used for statistical purposes only and will be held in the strictest of confidence. Details will not be passed onto any third party.

These consultations are usually questionnaires though occasionally we invite Panel members to take part in workshops or focus groups. Panel members will also receive a newsletter sharing results of surveys and actions planned in the light of the views received.
