The Committee can review and scrutinise policy and decisions within the remit of the Environment, Highways and Transport and Regulatory Affairs cabinet portfolios, including:
The Committee also takes an active interest in issues beyond the direct remit of the Council, in particular on highways and transport provision and use of resources, such as water and energy.
Committee Work Programme
At its first meeting of the year, the Committee agreed its |intended work programme for 2008/09. This work programme is subject to amendment throughout the year, as relevant issues arise. You can suggest an item for possible inclusion on the work programme via our |online suggestions form.
