| Buying/Selling Annual Leave Policy | We encourage all employees to take their full annual leave entitlement every year. The basic leave entitlement is 23 days, increasing to 25 days after 2 years continuous local government service, increasing again to 28 days after a total of 5 years continuous local government service.
