|Rob Moran, Chief Executive
The Chief Executive is the chief officer and executive head of the council. He has general authority over the activities of all directorates and chairs the management board of directors.

|Sarah Selvanathan, Strategic Director - Resources
In addition to contributing to the corporate and strategic management of the authority and providing leadership, vision, and strategic direction, the Director leads the following portfolio of services:
- Audit - Internal Audit, Internal Control and Corporate Governance
- Law - legal services, Electoral Services, land charges, conveyancing, planning law
- Information Systems - Telephony & Desktop services, ICT development , ICT asset management
- Finance - Budgets and Financial Strategy,Accountancy , Council Tax, Business Rates and Exchequer Services
- Administration - Civic centre management , Surveying services
|David Wiltshire, Strategic Director - Services
In addition to contributing to the corporate and strategic management of the authority and providing leadership, vision, and strategic direction, the Director leads the following portfolio of services:
- Building Control - Building Regulations, street naming, property numbering dangerous structures, disability
- Community Support - Centres for retired people, meals on wheels, relief carers scheme, community transport, community alarms, voluntary sector support
- Environmental Care - Car parks, refuse collection, recycling, street cleaning, litter, flytipping, graffiti, abandoned cars
- Environmental Health - Food hygiene, pollution control, pest control, health & safety at work, contaminated land, alcohol & entertainment licensing
- Housing - Housing register, homelessness, housing advice, private sector housing, care & repair, housing benefit, housing policy & development
- Leisure - Leisure facilities, public halls, parks, commons & open spaces, cemeteries, museum, arts & culture, health development
- Town Planning - Development control, local development framework, listed buildings, conservation, tree preservation

|Frances Rutter, Assistant Chief Executive
The Assistant Chief Executive's primary role is to support the Chief Executive, particularly on organisational development and business planning. She is the Council's Monitoring Officer. Her responsibilities also include:
- Organisational Improvement - business planning and communications
- Personnel - HR, health and safety and emergency planning
- Executive and Member Services - committee meetings and Member development
- Community Partnerships - community planning, crime reduction and partnerships
|Roger Davies, Borough Solicitor
The Borough Solicitor is also the Council's Deputy Monitoring Officer. His services include:
- Corporate legal advice to Members, Directors Management Board and Officers
- Corporate Governance advice and monitoring including maintenance of Council's Constitution and support to Standards Committee
- Liaison for Local Government Ombudsman investigations, Data Protection and Regulation of Investigatory Powers
- Common Law and Litigation, Planning Law, Conveyancing and Contracts
- Estate - maintains the Council's operational and non operational and investment property portfolio
- Local Land Charges
