Hackney Carriages and Private Hire Vehicles
Elmbridge Borough Council licences Hackney Carriages (taxis) and Private Hire vehicles (minicabs, executive and chauffeur driven) within the Borough of Elmbridge. Taxis have the right to apply for hire and to use taxi ranks as well as take bookings from customers. Private Hire vehicles must be pre-booked with a licensed operator.
